“House of the Rising Sun” by Sinead O’Connor

At first, I wondered why Sinead O’Connor would cover this too-oft-covered standard. Did we really need another version? However, after about 30 seconds, it was apparent that we absolutely did need this version. She revitalizes the song and makes it her own in a way that few covers artists ever have.
